SPECIAL RULE FOR THE 2022-2023 PGL-WB SEASON

The 2021-2022 PGL-WB Season will follow normal procedures (trades, draft, roster cuts, waivers, 162 games regular season, ten-team post-season, with the following differences

• The Independence League will use the Designated Hitter in the PGL-WB 2022-2023 season - and in all future seasons as the DH is now used in both the American and National Leagues
• In order to maintain a sufficient pool of ABs by hitters, ALL PGL-WB TEAMS will be allowed to use a cumulative 200 ABs over their hitters' "normal" usage limit - with this usage limit being 105% of actual ABs in MLB during the 2021 MLB season. However no individual hitter an be used more than two times his "normal" 105% AB limit.  For example, a hitter whose 105% limit is 100 ABs could only be used up to 200 ABs without penalty.  There will be no additional overuse allowance for pitchers.

THE ABOVE RULE CHANGE REGARDING EXTRA USAGE ALLOWANCE IS FOR THE 2022-2023 PGL-WB SEASON ONLY - AND WILL NOT APPLY TO FUTURE SEASONS.
